Zero hour in Legislative Assembly
JAMMU, MARCH 13: The Zero Hour proceedings in the
ongoing session of Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly today recorded

public concerns.
The session began with MLA Kulgam, M.Y. Tarigami, a
senior member of the Legislative Assembly besides member of the recently

the opposition. He clarified that as per the J&K Reorganisation Act, 2019,
the Speaker has sole discretion in legislative matters without requiring
external advice. He also acknowledged the dedication and hard work of the
Assembly Secretariat employees.
MLA Pampore, Justice (Retd) Hasnain Masoodi,
highlighted the pressing issue of the blocked underpass at the railway crossing
in Kakapora. He stressed that the obstruction was severely impacting the public
access to agricultural lands and urged for its immediate reopening,
particularly in light of the approaching sowing season in the valley.
MLA Pattan, Javaid Riyaz Bedar, drew attention to
non-availability of an Anaesthesia Consultant at SDH Pattan. He emphasized the
urgent need for immediate posting of a specialist to ensure uninterrupted
