Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Awareness program under SVEEP for Tribal Voters held at Chountwaliwar Ganderbal GANDERBAL, APRIL 01: A transformative SVEEP awareness programme was held today at Government High School Chountwaliwar, aimed at enlightening tribal voters on the pivotal role of voting in modern democracy. The programme was organised by Nodal Officer SVEEP Ganderbal in which CDPO, ICDS Kangan, who oversees SVEEP programme for 17-Kangan ST Assembly Constituency also participated. The event brought together tribal communities to delve into the democratic ethos and underscored the significance of electoral participation. Through interactive sessions and informative presentations by the DLMTs of Election Cell Ganderbal, attendees were equipped with essential knowledge on electoral procedures and the collective responsibility of citizens in shaping the nation's future. The SVEEP team, comprising dedicated Lecturers of BHSS Lar, DLMTs, SVEEP team members, teachers, students and BLOs, collectively worked tirelessly to foster an inclusive environment conducive to dialogue and learning. With a focus on promoting electoral literacy and fostering democratic engagement among tribal voters, the programme stands as a testament to collective efforts towards ensuring equitable representation and amplifying the voices of marginalized groups in the democratic process.
